Julie has been with the American Home Title since February of 2006, providing the company incredible experience with over 20 years in the real estate field. Julie has been a licensed real estate agent since 1997, has held her Title Insurance Underwriter license since 2006, and received her designation as a Virginia Certified Title Settlement Agent in 2015, she now serves as American Home Title’s Executive Vice President. 

Julie is American Home Title’s initial point of contact for all transactions, receiving contracts and title requests to then assign and manage the workload with the designated processors.  Her myriad of responsibilities range from the daily coordination of each element in the preparation of individual closing statements and documentation, conducting closing settlement appointments as well as the post-closing administrative duties ensuring appropriate filings for each transaction.  Julie’s remarkable experience, wide breadth of knowledge in real estate, and meticulousness provide the company’s solid foundation to ensure all transactions are consistent and smooth for both buyers and sellers.

Rita Bjerke

Rita’s tenure at American Home Title began in June 2017 and although she has been onboard for a short time, she brings tremendous experience in title insurance to the team.  Rita has over 15 years of experience in the title field as well as a strong administrative and customer service background.  Rita’s experience, work ethic and technical acumen round out her performance and ensure American Home Title customers have a smooth and pleasant closing experience.

Rita is responsible for coordinating and conducting real estate closings, to include preparation of closing statements and documentation.  Additionally, she maintains clear and open communication with customers, attorneys, and lenders ensuring all title requirements are articulated early for processing and finalized prior to closing.
